We believe God called us here just for you! We want to be your place – your people – to bring life, healing, and joy.
Acts 5:16 says that a multitude gathered from the cities surrounding Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and they were all healed! We believe that God is using us in the same way. Every Sunday we confess together, “There came also a multitude out of the cities, roundabout unto Kenedy, to The Word Fellowship, bringing sick folks and them which were vexed with unclean spirits and they were healed, everyone.” At TWFC, people are being healed, set free, and delivered.
For all that you’ve experienced in life, for all the questions, all the hurt, all the storms, Jesus is the answer!

Our Mission
Our mission can be summed up in 4 statements: We want to be a church where every person can be taught the Word of God, where the Spirit of God moves freely, a church that reaches the world with the Gospel through missions, and to be a body of believers who reach out to those who don’t know Jesus Christ.
To Reflect and Express
There’s no greater force in all the world than love! Because God is love and we were created in His image, we have been given the awesome opportunity to be a reflection of His heart. Jesus said that there was no greater love than to lay one’s life down for another. Wherever we go and whatever we do, we always aim to express His love.
His Plan Is Our Purpose
We believe there is no higher calling than to do the will of God. As members of the Word Fellowship Church, we completely surrender our lives to Jesus Christ and work for and with Him. Our greatest joy and satisfaction is displaying His love, following His instructions, and being who He created us to be! Our purpose for living is to fulfill His plan.
Community Focussed
We have the GREATEST message in all the world! Jesus saves! Jesus heals! Jesus delivers! And we don’t want to keep it to ourselves. Jesus said to preach the Gospel to every creature throughout the whole world. We are on a mission to move beyond the four walls of our church and tell the story of how Jesus can do for you what He’s done for us!
Growth
Growth is something we should all strive for. No one should want to stay stagnant. But even more so for the believer in Jesus because we have been invited to be like Him. Through worship, teaching the Word, and fellowshipping together, we are growing to be more and more like Jesus every day, walking in the victorious life He has made available!
Preaching and Teaching
We like to say that TWFC is where the uncompromising Word of God is being taught. We are determined and relentless in our pursuit of truth! We have resolved to preach and teach the Good News of Jesus Christ with accompanying signs following. “But speaking the truth in love may grow in all things into Him who is the head, Jesus” (Ephesians 4:15).
